Lessons learned from The Global Economy (from a Hollywood pov)

Saw the movie "Lord of War" recently. Following are some of the rules that was learned from this movie:

1. The Will to Will is the first step of "winning in any business";

2. "Never get shot with your own merchandise." I interpreted it as "Never let any one uses your merchandise or services against you";

3. Always ensure you have a foolproof way of getting paid (and keep it concealed from the outsiders);

4. Focus on getting what one wants and not getting too much of it;

5. The elevation of margins determines the type of business one wants to be; and

6. "The secret to survival. .... Never go to war. Especially with yourself. ..."
