The Dao of the World Class Strategist

World Class Strategists are usually smart.

When I think of "smart", this Cardinal thinks in terms of what the ancient Chinese strategists refers to as being "completely smart".

"Completely smart" means "knowing their strengths and weaknesses of your opposition". Also knowing their position and what is going to happen next. (Another topic)

Dealing with People
Knowing when to outwork them (esp. those who are superior thinkers).
Knowing how and when to outthink them (esp. those who are great workers).
Knowing when and how to borrow from them (especially when they are in an extreme mode).

That's what being "completely smart" is about. ... It's a general viewpoint from my reading and understanding of the Ancient Chinese Strategic Classics.

The Strong prevails over the Weak While the Smart takes from the Strong. This is how the world is.

Presuming you are a strategist/gameplayer who leads by example, ask yourself the following questions

Q: To be the best in what one does, can you handle inner and external pressure now?

Q: Can you comply with the gameplan now?

Q: Can you make your teammates better?

Q: Can you stay focused from "start to finish of the game" now?

Q: Can you make adjustments during "the game" without losing track of the target, while being mindful of one's settings now?

Q: Can you forget the past errors and focus on the target now?

###

The key question is: Can you stay in the NOW?

When one stays in the "NOW", he realizes that "No Opportunities are Wasted".

This's how ["... The Dao of a World Class Strategist. ... "] is. . . .
